Crafter Story is a guest-post hub where marketplace sellers share their own stories, in their own words, about building a shop on Etsy, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces. Content is provided for general informational purposes only.
Not Official Marketplace Guidance
Crafter Story is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Etsy, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, or any other marketplace mentioned on the Site. Stories reflect individual sellers’ own experiences and opinions at the time of publication, and may not reflect a marketplace’s current policies, fees, or features. Always confirm platform-specific rules directly with the marketplace’s own official documentation before making business decisions.

User Submissions and Content License
Crafter Story publishes user-generated content (“Submissions”) — stories, text, and photos submitted by sellers through our “Submit Your Story” form or by email. By submitting content to us, you confirm and agree to the following:
- Ownership and rights. You own the content you submit, or you have all necessary rights and permissions (including from anyone shown in submitted photos) to submit it to us.
- Accuracy. Your story reflects your own genuine experience, honestly represented, to the best of your knowledge.
- License to publish. You grant Crafter Story a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish, edit, format, and display your Submission on the Site and in connection with promoting the Site (including on our social media channels), with attribution to you (by name or the byline you request).
- Editorial discretion. We may edit Submissions for length, clarity, grammar, or house style, and we may decline to publish, or later remove, any Submission at our discretion — including if we’re unable to verify it or if it doesn’t fit the Site.
- No compensation. Submitting or publishing a story does not entitle you to payment unless we’ve separately agreed to that in writing.
- You retain ownership. You keep the underlying copyright to your own words and photos — you’re only licensing us to publish them, not signing them away.

Stories may reference or link to marketplaces, tools, products, and services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, pricing, or practices of any third-party site, and inclusion of a mention or link does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of results.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, original editorial content on this Site (headings, introductions, site copy) is owned by Crafter Story; published Submissions remain owned by their original authors under the license described above. You may share links to our articles; please do not republish full stories without permission.
No Warranty; Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep information accurate and current but make no guarantee of completeness or accuracy, including for Submissions written by third parties.
